Here Comes the Sun!

One morning this last week, my Dad woke me up when it was still super dark outside. I was really tired so my Mom picked me up and carried me. She said we were going on an early morning adventure.

If you know me, you know I can’t resist the word “adventure”, so I mustered everything I could to climb into my very special travel car bed and try to stay awake.

No luck.

I fell right asleep, but when I woke up, my Mom and Dad were whisking me off to a beautiful field of yellow! It was barely shimmering in the early morning light.

I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was so beautiful!

As I began to wake up more and more with all the smells this field had to offer, my Dad and I took a walk, and my Mom started snapping photos. To say I was a little annoyed with her wanting me to pose was a massive understatement! I had exploring to do! Just look at my beard!

In the end, it was worth all the effort! Sunflowers during a beautiful Summer sunrise! It’s absolutely worth a 4:00 am wake-up call!
